Scale
Step 1. Choose Object(O) > Scale(S) command from the menu bar or click the icon
on the Toolbar. Then,
move the mouse on the editing screen area, the cursor will be a +. Left click and drag the mouse in the
editing screen area. After releasing the mouse, the square
will be made on the screen. Double-
click the square
by using the mouse, the following Scale Setting tab will pop up (Figure 1-79).

Step 2. In Scale Setting tab, the users can set Scale Position, Scale Side, Main Scale, Sub Scale, Max Value,
Min Value, Value Length and Font Setting.
Step 3. Scale Position could be Top, Bottom, Left or Right. It indicates that the scale line could be forward to
Top, Bottom, Left or Right. Scale Side could be Normal Direction or Opposite Direction. When Normal
Direction is selected, it indicates that the scale value increases from Left to Right and from Top to
Bottom. When Opposite Direction is selected, it indicates that the scale value increases from Right to
Left and from Bottom to Top.
Step 4. Main Scale and Sub Scale options are used to set the precision of the scale value.
Step 5. Usually, the Scale object will display with the bar graph to let the users see the present value more
clearly (Figure 1-80, Figure 1-81).

Step 6. Click View(V) > Object Inspector command from the menu bar, a Property tab will show up on the
screen and display all the properties of the Scale object. The users also could change the settings of
the Scale object directly by using the drop-down lists in Property tab.
