These parameters can be set during operation.
Pr.1-09. This parameter is used to determine the time required for the AC drive to ramp
from 0 Hz to its Maximum Output Frequency (Pr.1-00). The rate is linear unless S-Curve
is “Enabled.”
Pr.1-10. This parameter is used to determine the time required for the AC drive to
decelerate from the Maximum Output Frequency (Pr.1-00) down to 0 Hz. The rate is
linear unless S-Curve is “Enabled.”
The acceleration/deceleration time 2 determines the time for the AC drive to
acceleration/deceleration from 0Hz to Maximum Output Frequency (Pr.1-00)
(acceleration/deceleration time 1 is the default). A Multi-Function Input terminal must
be programmed to select acceleration/deceleration time 2 and the terminals must be
closed to select acceleration/deceleration time 2. See Pr.4-04 to Pr.4-08.
In the diagram shown below, the acceleration/deceleration time of the AC drive is the
time between 0 Hz to Maximum Output Frequency (Pr.1-00). Suppose the Maximum
Output Frequency is 60 Hz, start-up frequency (Pr.1-05) is 1.0 Hz, and
acceleration/deceleration time is 10 seconds. The actual time for the AC drive to
accelerate from start-up to 60 Hz is 9.83 seconds and the deceleration time is also 9.83
seconds.
